Respect for the person includes respect for their information.
This notice describes how the 4th P handles information provided through its public site, donation process, applications, and organization inquiries.
Information you provide
The organization may receive contact information, donation records, application information, organization inquiries, and messages you choose to submit. Stripe collects and processes payment-card information. The 4th P receives transaction details such as donor name and email, amount, payment status, recurring-donation status, and Stripe record identifiers, but does not receive or store full card numbers.
How information is used
Information may be used to process and acknowledge donations, review access applications, respond to inquiries, operate and improve programs, maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.
Service providers and organizational access
Authorized people working for or on behalf of the 4th P and service providers—including Stripe—supporting payments, communications, hosting, security, or program administration may process information for those purposes. Personal information is not intended for sale or advertising profiles.
Retention, questions, and requests
Records should be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose and applicable obligations. Contact hello@the4thp.org to ask a privacy question or request access, correction, or deletion. Some information may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or transaction records.
